FAQ

Questions, answered honestly.

Do I need an account at IAAI or Copart to buy a vehicle?

No. We bid on your behalf using our licensed broker accounts. You don't need to register, deposit funds with the auction houses, or worry about state-by-state buyer requirements.

How long does the whole process take?

From shortlist to delivery, expect 4–8 weeks: roughly 1–2 weeks to find the right lot and bid, 1 week for title and yard pickup, then 3–5 weeks of ocean freight to West Africa, plus a few days for port clearance.

What does an all-in price look like?

Your invoice itemizes the winning bid, auction and broker fees, US/CA inland transport, ocean freight, and our service fee. We give you a realistic all-in estimate before you commit so there are no surprises at the end.

Can I buy a clean-title car, not just salvage?

Yes. While IAAI and Copart are best known for salvage and insurance lots, both run plenty of clean-title vehicles too. We help you weigh the trade-offs based on your budget and intended use.

How do you handle inspection and condition reports?

We pull official auction photos and history, and where possible our agents inspect the vehicle in person, providing extra photos, run-and-drive verification, and an honest go / no-go recommendation.

Which ports do you ship to?

We most commonly ship to Tema, Ghana, but we also coordinate to Lagos, Cotonou, Lomé, Abidjan and Dakar. Tell us your preferred port at the discovery stage.

How do I pay?

We accept bank transfers in GHS. Larger deposits are paid before bidding; balance and shipping are due once the vehicle is won. Every payment is invoiced.

What if I'm not happy with a vehicle once it's won?

Auction purchases are final by industry rule, which is exactly why we put so much effort into the inspection and pre-bid stage. We'd rather walk away from a bid than win a car you'll regret.
